Alex H. Weber
Chairman of the Board and CEO
Relationship Manager / Risk & Compliance
Alex H. Weber has many years of experience in wealth management, cross-border estate and tax planning, and philanthropic projects. He worked as a client advisor and financial planner at Credit Suisse Private Banking in Zurich and Hong Kong and as an attorney-at-law at Niederer Kraft & Frey in Zurich. He is a member of the Board of Directors of various companies and chairs several charitable and non-profit organisations.
Alex H. Weber graduated from the University of Zurich with an MLaw degree and obtained an LL.M. in International Finance and Banking Law from Boston University. He is a member of the Zurich and Swiss Bar Associations.
Martin Mosberger
Managing Director / Portfolio Manager
Martin Mosberger has extensive knowledge and experience in private banking, investment advisory and asset management. He joined NUMMUS in 2009, after spending 30 years at Credit Suisse, where he headed the Asia desk and managed the Middle East department. He worked for Credit Suisse in Zurich, London, New York and Toronto.
Martin Mosberger learned the private banking business “from the ground up” and, after his banking apprenticeship, completed his banking education by attending the CS International Banking School in New York.
Raphael Huber
Managing Director / Portfolio Manager
Raphael Huber possesses in-depth knowledge and experience in financial analysis, asset management, and family office services. He joined NUMMUS in January 2020 following a 14-year career at a family office in St. Gallen, where he served as head of asset management for private and institutional clients. Prior to that, he worked as a financial analyst and co-fund manager at Bank Hofmann and as an internal auditor at Credit Suisse.
Raphael Huber holds a master’s degree (lic.oec.publ.) from the University of Zurich and a post-graduate diploma as a Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA). He is a member of the Swiss Financial Analysts Association (SFAA).
Karl Weber
Member of the Advisory Board / Research
Karl Weber is a renowned economist with extensive experience in the banking industry. Among other roles, he served as an editor at the financial journal “Finanz und Wirtschaft” and as a research analyst at Bank von Ernst in Zurich and London, where he was also a member of the bank’s strategy and investment committee. Later, at Bank Vontobel, he served as the Group’s Chief Economist and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the pension fund. Today, he runs his own research and investment company, KW-invest Ltd.
Karl Weber holds a lic.rer.pol. degree from the University of Basel, specialising in macroeconomics, growth theory and economic policy.
Dr. Markus A. Frey
Board of Directors
Dr. Markus A. Frey has extensive experience in banking and finance, international private equity transactions, trust and estate matters, and family office services. He is an independent legal advisor and sits on the board of numerous international companies and institutions. In addition, he is the chairman of several charitable foundations and non-profit organisations and serves as the Swiss Honorary General Consul of the Kingdom of Thailand.
Dr. Markus A. Frey holds a PhD from the University of Zurich and a postgraduate LL.M. degree from the University of Miami School of Law. He is a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) and the Zurich, Swiss and International Bar Associations.
